Nutty Granola Bites
Ingredients:
1 cup granola
1/2 cup nut butter (almond butter, peanut butter, or your choice)
1/3 cup honey or maple syrup
1 cup rolled oats
1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
A pinch of salt
Instructions:
Combine Ingredients:
In a large mixing bowl, combine granola, nut butter, honey or maple syrup, rolled oats, mini chocolate chips, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt.
Mix Thoroughly:
Stir the ingredients until well combined. The mixture should be sticky and hold together.
Chill in the Refrigerator:
Place the mixture in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes. Chilling will make it easier to form the energy bites.
Form Bites:
Once chilled, take small portions and roll them into bite-sized balls using your hands.
Optional Coating:
Roll the energy bites in additional granola for an extra crunchy coating.
Store and Enjoy:
Place the energy bites on a parchment-lined tray and refrigerate for another 30 minutes to set.
Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator. These bites make for a convenient and energy-packed snack.
